Ok, so it's an old joke - but I'm not exactly a spring chicken either. Let me begin by introducing myself: I'm a theme park junky! That's right, a true junky in every meaning of the word. I began working at my first park in college, and finally realized that without noticing, it had become a career. In my life, I've worked as a ticket seller, ride attendant, costumed character, entertainer, hotel agent, administrative assistant, and trainer for some of the top theme parks in the country. My resume includes Walt Disney World, Sea World, Cedar Point, Six Flags, and Universal Studios.
So now I enter the "blogosphere" with a willingness to throw both arms up into the air and scream all the way down the big hill! I'll try to blog about my life in the parks, some of my past experiences, the guests (and other employees) I encounter, and some hints or tips I've picked up along the way that might make your next theme park visit more enjoyable. Hopefully you'll come along for the ride. And next time you're in line for that roller coaster or carousel, make sure you wave to me. I'll probably be right in line behind you!
